Friend saw a dbl 470NE built on a Browning BSS at Helena gunshow this weekend. Anybody know who he is?? THX Randall

Not positive who did the gun that you saw but Butch Searcy started his work with double rifles by modifying Browning SxS shotguns for medium pressure african calibers like the 470. He is now in Boron, CA but prior to that he was in Farmington, NM. He now turns out some of the finest double rifles made. He might be the man you are looking for.
