There is a almost new condition Brno ZKK 602 in .458 WInMag for sale around here, but the owner wants 1450 EUR for it. It does have the flip up peep site integrated into the rear bridge, but it still seems a little expensive to me. What would it be worth in the USA?

I think the owner feels there is some sort of collector value to this rifle, whereas I would probably have it rebarrelled to a different caliber.

A quick 'net search shows them for sale in various chamberings at $800-1000 US.

He is asking too much compared to what they are
worth here in Aus and the US.

I might pay 1000 USD or about 750 Euro for it, just because of the peep.
He is asking about 2X what I would pay.
Then I would have to have the bassackward safety replaced.
Hopefully it has both type triggers with it.
And those are hinged on a pin in the bottom metal.
I like the simple, one-piece, non-set, curved trigger.
Remove the bottom metal, and the trigger goes with it.
I would much prefer a CZ 550 Magnum with the integral, fold-down peep, now offered at CZ USA, custom feature.
Everything old is new again.

Also check the year it was made.

602's went through a bad (rough) patch.

You can normally tell.
