I was looking at that over the weekend. Beautiful rifle. What's up with that front receiver ring? Looks like a 98 action. I also like the magazine arrangement. I can't figure out why more people don't like the look of single stack magazines, like on Schuler 500 Jefferys or the prototypes Harald Wolff built - I think those are some of the meanest looking Mausers ever built. I hope to have one some day, although I doubt I will ever have the coin to spend on a rifle to have Harald Wolff build it.

I thought that the barrel was unique as well. Never seen one with a taper like that. Is that some kind of grayed finish or is it just unfinished??
