Sorry about that! I've updated my original post to reflect that this was in my M-70 .470 Capstick.
Feeding at 3.61" COAL is fine if done quickly or 'normally'. On one round (fed from the magazine), I worked the bolt VERRRRY slowly, and that round did seem to catch momentarily just before the bolt closed, but it only happened the one time, and I was unable to make any other rounds catch in the same manner.

George Do you have any Barnes Super Solids to compare them to? They look even longer than them. I should have mine next week. I hope they are no longer than the Barnes. With barnes in my lott they take up quite a bit of case space. Dean
