Kimber's .375 H&H "Caprivi" is "new for 2007" coming soon eh? I have not seen that one yet, will keep an eye peeled for it. They have a hard time keeping the web site updated. You really need to call and ask if they have it, or go fondle it in person.

The Kimber is a beautifuly looking rifle but kind of expensive at $3200. If what I read was correct in American Rifleman Nov 2007 it has a fatal flaw for a dangerous game rife. It is a standard length action and you have to tilt loaded rounds into the magazine to fit, but it will eject empties ok. What happens if you have a misfeed or misfire and can't eject the loaded round through the ejection port?

I think Kimber has the worst web site out there.

The Kimber Caprivi just does not float my boat. I do not care one bit for the style of the stock. With the wood even with the ejection port, looks like the bean counters figured a way to save some time and money. srt, raises a good point about not ejecting a miss fired round. I wondered about that myself. My interarms 458 Win mag also seems kinda tight w. 510 grs. -- I'll check it next time I go shooting. Yep, So don't order one. Bad news on the Kimber Caprivi. This one won't last long either. The Ruger Hawkeye in .375 Ruger will be hanging on a long time.

How much slop is in the actions on the little 375 Alaskan?? I hate slop. Can't shoot a rifle that clunks or has slop.
