After a 3 year search, I finally added a 500 Jeffery to my Safari Rifle family.

Its an early AHR Custom built on a 550 CZ Safari Classic action.

What a wonderful rifle by Wayne, built in 2008.

Island Rear Sight, 1-Standing 1-Folding - Red Optic Front Sight w/ Window Hood
Fancy English Walnut Stock, 4-Panel Checkering w/ Rosewood Forend Cap & Rosewood Grip Cap

Super! Perfect in everyway.

Vertical feed mag is the best idea.
I like the straight stock/comb and high sights. It will be nice to shoot. The heavy 25" barrel is perfect too, weight forward gives steady hold, nicer to shoot. Beautiful rifle . Well worth the wait. Brian

Hello bigbull,
Thanks for the reply.

It started life as a 416 Rigby - converted to 500 Jeffery.

Hello chuck375,
Thanks for the reply.

I had a 500 Jeffery some years ago built on a 98 action, but it didn't feed worth a darn. Could only use it as a single shot.

This AHR feeds flawlessly.

Wayne does great work! Mine feeds and functions flawlessly too but it took 3 gunsmiths to get there. I think Wayne does a single stack magazine? Makes sense to me.
This AHR feeds flawlessly.
