With regard to the muzzle velocities you have quoted for your 8 Bores, are those chronographed, calculated (software), or estimated from data in books?

Thank you! I was curious because a gentleman I know had an 8 bore, many years ago now, that would only get ~ 1100 fps. As I recall the load was 10 drams and a 1235 gr bullet (think it was supposed to be 1250, but his alloy and mold provided 1235).

The Manton is an 8 Dram load with 870 grain bullet at 1400. That is the same as my 10 bore Paradox.
