Does anyone have any information on the 425WR? What is this caliber like in a high grade Westly Richards rifle and what loads do you know work for it? Regards, ozhunter.

ozhunter - You might try to get in touch with Indunajr on this forum, he has a very nice WR bolt rifle and has done a bit of loading for it. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? It is the whole people. Here's a forum thread that will take you to his loading and shooting the .425WR. https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums?a=userpo...rtType=1&u=894101544 "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? After some work, have found the AR2208 (VARGET) seems the best. Starting loads from my 24" barreled Westley Richards is 74grns of Varget with Hornerber cases, Fed 215 Mag primers and woodleigh soft bullets at a MV of 2190fps. On up to 78grns for 2280fps 79grns for 2310fps Showing no sign of pressure yet and produces good accuracy.
