Where's the best place to get fairly high quality (wood) replacement stocks for big bore CZs? How much do they run? I did find that a company named Brockman Stocks makes a drop-in stock for the CZ. Anybody have any experience with them? Donations accepted!

If you want wood, want it to be great handling and need it to be more weather resistant than a traditional wood stock: Brockman's!!!!!

Does Brockman make anything other than laminated stocks?

He CNCs his laminate stocks using industrial grade blanks. But I do believe he likes to use MPI stocks for fiberglass. I'm not up to speed on costs, but I think it would run somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 - $700 for him to do all the work and be turn key with his laminate being the bottom end and the MPI being the top end. Doing some or all of the work yourself will drop this cost a good amount. I would not tackle an MPI stock myself but would have 100% faith in one Jim did. I for one do not like the Mc versions for the CZ. I think the Brockman (though not fiberglass) handles far better. For many, the Mc(AHR) is liked.

Ed Plummer at AHR will turn a blank for you and probably provide the wood as well. Or will will do a whole stock. He charged me about $300 to turn and inlet my blank. I am waiting on a second rifle from Brockman so until I get it I can't give much of a comparison. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
