Anything over a 50 cal firearm last I heard.
Even reloading stuff, which is why I set it
up for you all there to get 585HE cases
from Bruce.

Muzzle loaders have not beem considered
firearms, but maybe they changed it.Ed

What about 50B&M which im getting a rifle made for now at SSK. I would have thought it would be 50BMG not the other big game rifle calibres that doesnt make sense at all.

I'm a huge fan of the .498, .498 designations and
ACTUAL diameters because of this very concept! If
it's not yet in place IT WILL COME ! Sadly, I'd bet
sooner than later... Ed Hubel has a beautiful rimmed
cartridge established, though with modern powders
it could ethically be used even on elephant and rhino
if it was cut down to 2.5" brass instead of it's 3.5"
present brass length. I submit to Michael and Sam
that their wonderful .50's might be "put on a diet"
to loose 1/1000" or 2/1000", also the 500 Mbogo
could be resized down 12/1000" and the 500 A2,
Wells ad infinitum...
flame to the bureaucrats !!! Mad

Correct bullet placement, combined with the required depth of bullet penetration, results in an anchored animal...
