I have not liked the look of the photos I have seen of Arts stocks, but have never seen one first hand, let alone fired one. I would like to know if they handle recoil as well as he says. The one on this particular rifle doesn�t look too bad, but its hard to tell from the photo. I don�t know why the original owner didn�t get checkering though � something with that sort of recoil really needs plenty of help for you to hang on.

No, I dont expect this Sako is CRF, as far as I know, Sakos are all push feed. Having said that, I have hunted buff with my Sako actioned 450 Ackley and lived to tell the tail. In fact, there were two other hunters in camp during my trip and they were hunting with a Weatherby in 375H&H and a Rem 700 in 416 Rem. I am guessing a whole lot of dangerous stuff gets shot with push feed rifles.

I�m not trying to start an argument on CRF vs PF by the way, just passing on my own personal experience for what its worth. Traditionally it has not been an option for left hand shooters to use a CRF action as there have been none made. Now of course there is the Win mod 70, but virtually all the rifles I want are already built.
