Hi all, I got a note from the guy who I've got both my double pistols from, 70 and 577 cal.
He has a line on another one. I don't know if it's pinfire or centerfire yet.
It's out of my financial situation at the moment as the wifes cancer has come back. She starts chemo on Friday morning

The first one I got from his is the 70 cal. He had it listed as 18mm. I've asked about the pinfire or centerfire thing. It sounds like he can get it, but doesn't have it yet. I've asked for pictures and thought I would pass it along here incase anyone is interested. should be in the $1000 range +- ??

the gun I can get the following :
big bore (50+ cal? or something like that, same cal as the big bore you got from me first)
12+" about barrel
ivory grips (real elephant!!!)
some elaborate decorative etching
made in the 1870's
it has 22k gold inlay on top of the barrel, it reads: Montevideo and co. (something like that) thats the name of the gunshop that sold it back then and some gold decorating here and there.
this gun belonged to a very wealthy family.
This gun is spectacular, looks like a shot gun with a pistol grip, lefaucheux system.
It is tight and in great contdition.
