Hopefully, this gets to stay for a bit - I apologize in advance to the mods.

One of my closest friends - who has been to at least one big bore shoot - although he's more into his 500 S&W - has become rather ill - he suffered some manner of brain injury a few months ago. (Different doctors have been saying different things.)

It has been suggested that he go to the Mayo clinic.

Is anyone familiar with medical transports/charters/etc going from Houston to the Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN?

Depending on the degree of disability he may be able to use a charter. Give a call to the Houston's air field charter.

My daughter was lucky enough to be in helicopter distance when she was born. We spent 102 days in Rochester, not fun. I hope the best for your friend.

Thanks guys. We're pretty sure he'd be OK w. mild sedation.

(Just another example to carpe diem, I suppose. He was a happy litigator, with a baby on the way, and a few hours later, he didn't know where he was, etc.)
