Anyone know anything about them and how they work? Leftists are intellectually vacant, but there is no greater pleasure than tormenting the irrational.

They work on the principle of inertia. Mercury being a 'heavy' substance, adds mass to the rifle. When the reaction from firing a round occurs, the mercury 'absorbs' some of the force via its tendency to stay at rest. George

I don't like the idea of such a toxic material being in my stock. Since it works on inertia there must be other types available. Leftists are intellectually vacant, but there is no greater pleasure than tormenting the irrational.

rick, The lead in your bullets is toxic, too. The mercury is well-sealed. My .470 Capstick has two DeadMule recoil reducers, which are mechanical (not mercury). George

Especially when they touch you at 2400 fps. ___________________ Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy crap...what a ride!"
