I used a Wisner trigger guard on a M1917 .375 project years ago and reached out for Jim after seeing this thread, I have a Remington M30 with original bottom metal with the original owners name on it that I would like to replace as well as a 505 Gibbs project that I am looking at. Regretfully Jim (who responded instantly) is no longer making these - hasn't for years. Damn, they were beautiful.

I have a 416 Rigby built on a P17 with Wisner bottom metal and M-70 style safety. They are beautifully built.
So is the entire rifle as it was stocked by Lon Paul in a G&H style. Unfortunately it is too pretty for me to carry here in Alaska so if anyone is seriously interested e-mail me

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship
