Thanks much, I haven't screwed up anything yet, but at $4.00 a case I want to be prepared. Chuck Regards, Chuck "There's a saying in prize fighting, everyone's got a plan until they get hit" Michael Douglas "The Ghost And The Darkness"

Use a small round file to "funnel" or enlarge the opening of the puller to permit the round to be inserted. Put the round in the shell holder and insert into the puller. Tape or otherwise secure the shellholder to the body and you are good to go. Not very elegant but it works OK if you need to pull just a few rounds.

But no 50-cal collet offered by Hornady. RCBS offers them.

I have not had to use it yet for my .505 but I was told to purchast RCBS's regular collet .50 puller and have been assured it will work. If it doesn't it is not expensive and can always be used with different collets.
