We have a winner. The Official Troll of the Big Bore Forum is ( insert Drum Roll Here) SCOTTS.

The First Annual Troll Poll is history. ScottS is the reigning HeadTroll with Mike375 as his Vice Troll. The Vice Troll will only take office if the Head Troll leaves the forum, gets run over by a truck or something other equally understandable accident befalls him.

I want to congratulate Scott on his campaign. It was well run and he continiued campaigning to the very end. By the strategic use of a few of his various identities he kept the pot simmering. He has made his name a 'curse' on this forum and deserves credit for his efforts. The lesson here is that you must start early and work hard to win this honor.

We also had a very good campaign by Mike375, all the way from Australia, and I'm sure his Country is proud of his effort. Particularly in view of yet another Sports loss, the World's Softball Championship, to arch rival New Zealand. Mike made a last ditch effort for the sympathy vote by posting his phone number at the last minute but this pitch to honesty did not help in the long run.

We have a tie for third between Mauser and Pecos. They both spent too much time Trolling each other and thus did not generate the broad based support of our voters. I think it was a brillant move on the part of ScottS to use one of his identities to keep Pecos off balance and out of focus of the overall goal.

Rob was never really in this race. He started fast but pettered out at the end. He also was to focused on one candidate ot gain unilateral support for his efforts. Nice try Rob but you need to work harder next time.

Karl had a very disappointing show. He tried to bolster Mikes candidacy but most voters evidently saw through the Trojan Horse tactics and ignored his efforts. Like Rob, a poor effort but with practice may show promise.

Since this is an Annual Event all trolls are now forbidden to campaign until next January. We all hope that you honor this request but, being Trolls, we are sure that you won't. I want to thank all of the voters and especially my Aunt Gertrude for her support when I was trying to get elected 6th Grade Crossing Guard.

I would like the voters and trolls now to thank Mickey for his help.

Despite his keen interest and showing on the actual subject of Bigbores he managed to take time out of his schedule to make a substantial number of posts on troll related threads himself.
Not to mention two complete threads of his own relating to the subject.

Whilst trolls may like to get all the credit, I think if we have learned anything here it is that thread participation and continued support of normal members is instrumental- foundational even, in troll popularity.
