Edward LeeWhich pad for #1 458 Lott?
I want to put a recoil pad on my Ruger #1 .458 Lott, but am confused by the choices! I would like a traditional looking pad without the ribbed sides that the limbsavers have. I believe I am able to do the grinding/fitting myself. What pads have you other #1 shooters found that work best both in terms of looks and performance? I welcome the advice!

De-Celerator or Kick-Eze AND with a Past strap-on model (they come in Ambidex configuration).

JKS+1 to Hog Killer. I like the Limbsaver but a Decelerator or 990 would be my second choice. Anything will be better than the stock "pad."!!!
The #1 Lott is a great big bore buy, but needs a little attention if you are going to shoot it a lot. New pad and "dressing" the trigger face and safety with emory cloth does wonders. Totally stock the #1 Lott punishes the shooter
more than needed. I liked the #1 but love the RSM Lott.

jstevensGet the RSM and put a Limbsaver on it. It would work on a No. 1 , but look like ass on a No.1.
