It's the full length 375 brass neck up to 475 and almost the same size as the 458 Lott except for bore diameter. For the price and for that particular caliber, I'd say it would be a keeper if if suits you. If it kicks anywhere like my 458 Lott, I hope you reload so that you can do a lot of practice loads.

What can any of you tell me about the 470 Capstick.

I ran across and Win. Safari Express Big 5 from the Win. Custom Shop. What do you think it's worth? The tag says $2499. Is it worth it? It's new not used.

I have M-70 .470 Capstick (it's the rifle I'm holding in the photo below).

The round is a thumper on buffalo, for sure!

The Winchester Custom Shop prices its gun pretty high, but $2499 still represents a savings over the original list price.
Offer them $2000; there aren't many buyers of guns that powerful, so they should accept your offer.
