What ever happened to it? I thought that it was coming out soon? Would you be able to re-chamber it for 450#2, or something similar, or is it just a piece of crap...I was looking foreward to having a look at one.

I sent a letter to them about doing a rechanber on there action's...Thay told me that the action's were for
28.000 PSI that's nice if your plaining on shooting the older round's .............But for a rechamber job to
anything bigger forget it thay would even stand up to a buffalo bore round for PSI..There junk

Jeffe,

You are absolutely correct. They also advertise the mystery double as being chambered for 308 and other higher pressure cartridges.

Since the rest of the EAA staff only issues B.S., they probably have replaced their people with lawyers in anticipation of the repercussions from false advertising. It's been over two years since EAA released their low cost double as "coming soon".

Martin, sight unseen, I also have a feeling that they are junk. What older calibers would it rechamber to safely? I guess there is no poor mans double rifle.

they same action is chambered for 30-06... 28k sounds like lawyerin' to me

then again, I have just about given up on them
