I looked around at the Savage model 210
http://www.savagearms.com/210f.htm

and Mossberg model 695
http://www.mossberg.com/pcatalog/model695.htm

bolt action shotguns. Does anyone know if these are front lug locking actions or is the mossberg the same as the old ones that lock with the bolt handle?
Would either of these be suitible for a 12bore heavy?

Lar- the Savage is a front lug like the Browning A-Bolt shotgun,Mossberg I think is still bolt handle.Savages are
less than half of A-Bolt.I am going to check out one
of the Savages too for midrange loads as soon as I find one.
Abolt and Savage are 3 lug 60 deg bolts.Great possibilities to check out..Ed
