woodsracerBortech bullets????
Has anyone heard of Bortech bullets?
A little birdie that slipped its lips at McMillian told me, Boretech is supposed to be making the long range solids for the new .416 Barrett and I am wanting to purchase some of their solids to play with in my .416 Rigby.
Any info, links, or a phone number would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

N E 450 No2Jeff, you probably know this...
Those bullets will be "pointed", great for long range shooting, not so good for hunting.

woodsracerYes Sir, I know that. I use either the Speer Mag tips or Barnes X-Bullets for hunting. I'm just wanting to see how deeply I can penetrate 1" cold rolled steel at long range, and target shoot with the "Pointed" solids.

You have the name wrong for the company making the bullets. I will soon be a dealer for the bullets as the first 10,000 have been made and sent to them.

Well, I'm just telling ya what a lady at Barrett slipped and told me. They might have changed suppliers by now to get them at a cheaper unit price, who knows.
Do you mind devulging the manufacturers name (via PM, perhaps)???
