Whats the recommended mount system for a scope on a 375 H&H.
Should one go with dual dove tail, the single dove tail with windage adjustable rear mount, or Talleys or....
I likely will have a Leupy 1.75-6X or 2-8X on my 375.

Thanks

Talleys are the best, IMHO. I use them to the exclusion of all others - excepting only when proprietary mounts are necessary, as with the Blaser.

Talleys work as well on my .375s as they do on everything else, which is very well indeed. Wink

Talley lightweight alloy mounts/rings. If you don't like them then use Talley bases with their rings

Whatever mounts you get don't get the ones with the opposing windage screws at the rear.

I have the leopol bases and a 2x5x30 leopol scope on my 375 H&H. They work for me.

I have Leupold dual dovetail bases and Burris signature rings on my .375 H&H. It's a pretty light gun and the combination has worked well for me. The scope is a Leupold 2x7.

I've used several types of top end rings and bases for African rifles and I've settled on the Leupold QRW rings and bases. I think they offer the best value and I have not found anything I've tried being better including Talley's and Warne.

Talleys. If I have to pay for them, it's Talley QD. The 375 is one rifle that can make use of both irons and a scope that will reach out 300 yards if need be.
