I have shot this. It's a real laid back atmosphere, but the competition is NOT very casual. Wayne of AHR fame has won it the last time or two.

Rich,

I didn't win the shoot, I won my class, and when you're the only one in the class, it's not hard to do. No one wants to shoot the .600 and over class; what's up with that?

Maybe, but so far in 2010 I DO have one more Kudu at the taxidermist's than Wayne...

I had a great time at this shoot last year, this is not the same day as the Quigley is it?

I'm wearing my waders around here.

My son and I are off on Gopher Safari tomorrow northeast of Chinook. It is supposed to be sunny for a couple of days. I sure hope the weatherman is correct.

See you guys in a couple of weeks.

P.S. I'll bring a MRC PH action for you guys to critique.

The date change is unfortunate, I will be in Helena the 11,12 and 13 for the Montana Bowhunters Assoc. annual "Carp Safari" at Canyon Ferry. I had hoped to shoot big guns and arrow some big fish all in one glorious weekend. Its a little to far to drive 2 weeks in a row. Maybe next year?

If Wayne has been cleaning your clocks at the shoot, maybe he should use my 700 AHR. That might slow him down just a bit!!!

What kind of catagories are there?

Charging water jugs sounds fun.

Also does the 375 h-h qualify? How about a 500 S&W handi rifle Big Grin ?

The High Ore Range is 1.5 miles South of Boulder on I15. Take the High Ore exit and then follow the frontage road back along the highway too the range which is on the North side of the Interstate. I'll have Buffalo heads for signs.
I have classes for everything from 9.3 up. Leverguns, singleshots, boltactions, and doublerifles. Bring it and have some fun. Cool
