Amazing how beautifully fiberglass can spruce up even a Johannsen .416 Rigby. Wink

I agree. They are both beauties, and both way out of my price range. Eeker

One thing that they do that I am not fond of, however, is the set back of the barrel band front site. I like maybe a 1/4" of barrel showing in front, but no more. Am I a boor??

Of course it is ghastly ugly, but undeniably a better hunting tool than one stocked in the purtiest wood. Seems like $11,500 Canadian is a bit much for it though. Must be the scope and mounts they are so proud of. Wink

I totally agree. And I do not understand why they hoist their scopes up in the sky like that either. European gunmakers and scopemounts is a long and strange story.
Not that this is the worst, by far.
