I load the 350 grain Mag Tips with 80 grains of H414/Win 760. I do not remember the velocity. My barrel is 26", seeing 2350ish fps. Ran it as high as 75 grains but 74 was a wee bit more accurate and packed plenty of punch. Aut vincere aut mori | |||

I found IMR 4064 gives better velocities in mine then RL15 with less powder. I have shot several head of big game with the 350gr mag tip at 2450 fps. Including one 500lb Black bear had 39 inches of penetration on that bear. | |||

I use the Barnes TTSX 350 grainers with 77gr of Varget in my 416 Ruger Alaskan. Free men should not be subjected to permits, paperwork and taxation in order to carry any firearm. NRA Benefactor | |||
