I got a good laugh out of this!

Wish I could make it, sounds like fun.
I unfortunately have a project in Arizona that requires my presence those dates.

Sounds like fun.

I'll be in Tanzania. Frowner

My wife's 375 with 200 grain at 3100 fps would qualify, but my "second rifle" 338, over 4000 ftlb, would stay in the closet. Fair enough. Them's the rules. tu2

We’re hoping to attend one of these soon, will have to get a “shorter” stock for my old “retired” Win. Model 70, so the wife can shoot. “Not” gonna shorten that pretty XTR stock for her occasional use. She has “her own” .338 WM for everyday use! memtb

We had a great time in Hamilton for the shoot. Weather was nice and the course was fun.
P.S. If they ever have BIG bore shooting in the Olympics, Dan416 will be there. He shot his iron sighted MRC .505 Gibbs all day with full house 600gr loads. He never missed a target and I personally watched him put 2 rounds in one ragged hole while shooting a bullseye target at 35yds. All shooting was done offhand, he is impressive to watch!

Sounds like a great time. I would have loved to just watch someone run a .505. Were there many .45/70 shooters?

There were two 45-70's, most had 375, 416, 458 bolt guns. One 500 double.
