N E 450 No2
Those No3's are pretty slick.

They can be pretty thumpy with the hotter 45-70 loads.

300gr Factory loads or reloads at factory velocities are good killers.

If I wanted more penetration I would use the 300gr Nosler Partition.

Right now my plans are to shoot a heavy cast at a modrate vel. They are fairly light weight to be making them a heavy thumper. For that I have my 416. Should be a fun toy.

Most likely its going to be a lee 450gr flat nose at about 1400 fps should kill most anything I want to shoot with it. I also plan on loading some down to around 1050 or so just to plink with. very mild but well kill deer with out any trouble.

A good recoil pad will help.
