Yes..A real Cutie!

Wayne any experience with the CEP Raptor 825s? Velocity and performance on inert objects (trees, watermelons, etc) & fleshy things (boars, bears, buffaloes & beastly beast!).?I wonder how they compare to same in Copper TSX?

I only shoot the aluminums out of one of my rifles as I dont really have a good idea of what they do to a barrel long term but so far so good after about 400 rounds.

How fast are you shooting these aluminum bullets?

SAFARIKIDYes how fast?? And damage reports on trees or flesh??

BitterrootTom,
The faux TSX and the CEB would probably drill 1 inch holes all the way through any critter. I like Rob's idea of smoking balls of hot lead. I have a pancaked 600 lead bullet around here somewhere. CCMDOC on here shot his Ele. with the CEB's I think.

SAFARIKIDNot looking to "just drill holes"...solids will do that..I want Massive wounds and devastation!

drewhenrytntSeems to me the velocity was around 3500fps in a 600 Nitro. Overkill likely a few more fps.

SAFARIKIDSo who is making what BULLETS now for the .600 OK? Swift Premium would be cool........So far I am leaning on a 2-2100 fps 825 Raptor from the 18" Barrel... Those 750 Crayons sound good but no expansion..

BitterrootWoodleigh is making their bonded 900 gr. soft nose which really expands. Hawk makes a 900 grain jacketed soft nose that isn't bonded. It comes apart like a hand grenade. There are some custom casting dudes out there who will make the flaming balls of lead for you.
