How do you calculate "stopping power" or the how hard a bullet can push a thing??? I know that a 45-70 will push over bigger things than a .300 rum even if the .300 have more energy. So how do you calculate the "push power" ??? I dont think that the Taylors knock out value is any good number.

And is there any way to calculate how big wound channel a bullet can make??? I belive Socrates have calculate that a 2-bore will make a 4,9" permanent wound channel???

Just my toughts... Thanks! // Overkill

Zero Drift! You are right. But I dont know yet if there is anyting that is "stopping power"

Guys look at this
"Most people say that the "push energy" or "stopping power" of a bullet cant be harder than the recoil of the rifle. BUT! What if a .700 BMG IMP rifle would have a weight of 9 pounds. A 1000 grianer at 3000 FPS It will have a recoil energy of 900 joule. My .460 Wby have 140 joule and it kicks me like a horse. So how would 6 .460 at the same time feel like [Eek!]
