Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Thanks. I own two remingtons beside this Sako. A 700 VS with a carbon fibre barrel in 308W, and a 700 SPS inn 300 winmag. The Sako is going elkhunting here in Norway. I think the 375 is a perfekt elk caliber :-)

Thanks guys. I just finished loading the first 375 bullets. A 250 grains Sierra SBT with 71,5 grain N150 behind it. Im starting in the low end of the loading table, and with light bullets.

Nice .375. Wink This round in 250gr bullet weight is developing quite a reputation as a driven boar cartridge. The boys say there is plenty of "paint" with little tissue damage. Smiler Look, in the "old days" we got stuck with 9,3x62 because one .375Holland round was worth one bottle of good vodka (that is if you could find ammo in the first place). Mad
Oh yes, now we love the Holland!!! clap thumb thumb Cool

Welcome.
A nice rifle that Sako in 375, if it shoots as well as it looks, you are on to a winner.
Most Sako's shoot very well.

Welcome to the party. You'll enjoy the felt recoil of the .375 H&H....

Soon you'll get adicted to the "big boys" and find yourself getting bigger and bigger guns.

There is nothing like the feel of a sore shoulder, the smell of gun power and saying" I just cracked off some rounds on a really big bore..."

That, my friend, is living.

Welcome to AR...great people here.

Welcome aboard! Nice rifle, outstanding chambering. Warning, your wife/significant other may get jealous of that rifle if you pay too much attention to it.

Took it to the range yesterday, and man i love it. The recoil was nothing to worry about. Just a gentle kiss from the queen herself :-) I shot 15 shots standing, just to get the feel for it. Next time I'l put it in the bench and adjust the scope propperly

You will learn to love that Sako. I have a AV in .375 that shoots like a varmint rifle. Minne likes reloader 15 with 260 noslers for small stuff and 300 grain trophy bonded bearclaws and woodleighs 300 grain solid for the big boys. So far it has taken elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo without a hitch. Recoil is a bit worse than my model 70 but its more accurate and easier to carry.
