Just talked to Marcus @ 800-456-6021, x499.
"They" (FN) are shutting down USRAC.
Hate to hear that. I asked if anyone was picking it up but he was unaware of anyone. Just shutting down period.
Anybody heard anything on this disaster?

A sad day in American history. I certainly hope a firearms oriented group will resurrect that fine old firearms company.

I think the 1894 would be in better hands if Uberti added it to their Winchester line up. As for the M70, let's get wild. If Remington had Zastava make it they could put the push feed vs CRF issue to bed once and for all.

So with the M70 dead the CRF rifles available in new rifles are CZ, Ruger, and Dakota? Any others? Of course you can get custom shops to do most anything if you are in a tax bracket to wave a fan of thousand dollar bills in their face. But for the masses, are these three all that is left?

Although cartridge selection is important there is nothing that will substitute for proper first shot placement. Good hunting, "D"

There is Kimber, empire Mauser, serengetti rifles (montana action), and the new Sako 85 (although the sako doesn't have the big "CLAW" it is still CRF) in the affordable line, then you can add Rigby, Mauser, holland and holland, and a few other brit gun makers to that list as standard manufacturers, then you have all of the custom shops out there that are some place in between.
