I've seen these for sale on GunsAmerica and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I already own a Rugger M77 RSM in .375 H&H but was considering a .458 which they chamber as the .450 Rigby I believe?

They are a very stout man-sized rifle. They are heavy through the wrist are usually around 11 pounds. The 450 Rigby is a big bore in spades. It is a 416 Rigby case necked up to 458 much like a 450 Dakota. Things happen when you touch it off! I had one in 416 Rigby and had safety problems with it. I finally traded it on a double rifle.

Check the AR Classifieds...I think New Guy has a few new Heyms posted for sale there also.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
