Last I had heard, we wouldn't be getting the Remington Spartan double rifle, because there is already a Baikal distributor in Canada, who got his nose out of joint.

However, I was just talking to someone at Ellwood Epps in Orillia, ON and they are supposed to be getting them, under the Baikal brand, either in July or August!

They are taking orders - 1/3 down gets you on the list. They already have two on order for people. Price is expected to be about $800 CDN.

Now, if I can convince the better half to free up some funds. We just bought a new house, and are sinking a pile into renovations. I don't know if there will enough room for a new rifle purchase. Maybe for Christmas!!

Any chance they will bring in the 9.3 X 74R doubles they sell in Europe? - dan
