Well I'm sure if we read through all 22 pages we could see what bullets everyone has tried and ended up with. How about reducing the number of pages to read. I'll let my 400PDK learn from your efforts. I bought several 100 of the Hornady seconds from Midway both both and solid. Resize Speer 350grs Grand Slams for lighter stuff. Then to get a big effect HP pistol bullets for water jugs. What are you guys using. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I've been shooting 400 grain Hornady DGX soft points in .410 diameter, 400 Woodleighs in .411 diameter and 300 grain Hornady. My rifle doesn't know the difference between .410 and .411 bullets, seems to shoot them the same size groups. The 300 grain bullets are also very accurate, I think these are for the .405 Win?. I have some .416 Speer 350 grain bullets that I will re size to .411 and try those as well.

My hands down favorite is the Woodleigh 400 grain round nose but I used a 400 grain Hawk to take my moose this year. I have done load development with the 300 grain Barnes TSX, 350 grain Hawk and Swift A Frame, 360 North Fork and 400 grain Hornady round nose. I tried doing the resize thing with Speer 416 bullets but there are plenty of good .411 bullets available. I gave up on the Speers and now just shoot the currently available .411 bullets. "...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." I forgot the 300 Hornady. What I found was I could turn them into a gray mist. As usual just my $.02 Paul K
