Woodleigh SN 458/ 500grain
I heard a rumour that the softs have been strenghenwd at some point in time to adress above 458 Win Velocities.
Is that true or BS and when did it happen?

They have been working fine for me since 2000 in my .450 no2 double rifle. I've noticed no changes.

I use and love the Woodleigh 458Win 480grn RNS bullets and achieve the great 450NE ballistics with ease.
Not sure if they have strengthen them though.
Woodleigh did introduce a strengthened 375 bullet but sell it as a toughened option.

I haven't looked lately but it's not unusual for Woodleigh to make similar bullets with different part numbers for different impact velocities.

As far as I'm aware the only RN they've discontinued recently is the #46B which has been replaced with the #46BHD - both 350g .375" RN SNs

No other changes listed in their 2016 catalogue
