Heckler & Koch has announced that they have purchased Merkel. Apparently they have done this to broaden their sporting line.For those who don't know HK has been under new management for a few months and also has announced that they are building a factory in Columbus Georgia.

Somone will try to ruin annother good old classic brand by improving the manufacturing methods. I wonder why SIG didn't bought them??
