Savage99, When was your rifle made? I have never heard of a M77MkII Magnum aka RSM being made with the OLDER M77 push feed action, but with the NEW MkII safety aka what you have in your Express. Also, that peculiar variation of the M77 MkII seems to be more apparent in Canada, at least I hear of more Canadians having them than Americans. According to Sturm Ruger, my M77 MkII Magnum RSM 416 Rigby was made in 1992, which is appropriate since that is when I bought it! This rifle IS MOST DEFINITELY CRF! I have only personally seen one M77 MkII Express rifle, it was a 338 Winnie and it too was CRF, but I do not know when it was made (saw it a few years ago and it was used). The NEWLY manufactured RSM rifles, and ANY of them made after ~ 1989 for sure, are ALL CRF! If you want to fight about that fine, I don't really care. ASS_CLOWN

Savage99, I have an early Ruger M77 mk2 and it is a push feed too. From what I gather these were not produced very long before they switched to CRF. There may be oddities out there for what ever reason break that rule, but I think thats the gist of it.. Regards, Pete
