I have a NIB BRNO ZKK 602 375HH, any idea what it's worth. I can't find anything about them being for sale.

It's because they don't make them under that name anymore. They're now the CZ-550, more or less.

Great rifles, by all accounts I've read and much more sought than the current production.

602 in .458 Lott went for about $850 here recently after trying to sell for more than a year at $995. Was used but in excellent condition.

The ZKK 602 is listed in the blue book under CZ. It has the following values: $675@100%, $575@98%, $495@95%

...from the above posts, it sounds like it should fetch more than BB

I stumbled onto a ZKK-602, used, consignment sale, in an Edmonton gunstore. I think it was $800 range at the time.

My gun though was a 1989 production model; the very year that Remington commercialized the .416RM. The gun had been originally a .375H&H, but the guy had immediately had the gun rechambered to .416RM, and the barrel re-bored to .416 cal.
It was the 'fugly' Euro-stock thing, sorta like yours.

Check out the home-made barrel band...

I ordered a McMillan stock, barrel band, had my gunsmith cut the 25" barrel down to 23.5", install the barrel band, plus re-install the front sight. He fit the stock, glass bedded it.

My rifle still has the maligned, but perfectly functional Brno safety, plus the funky 2-pc set trigger.

I love it. Superb rifle for bears + + ...

Thanks for all the comments, I found mind in a back woods shop. The owner found out he has cancer and sold off all of his firearms, I bought it for substantially less than $800. Adam

If you ever want something a little more classic with the stock, it can be reshaped. Here is a ZKK-602 reshaped by Dorleac & Dorleac. A silk purse from a sows ear: http://forums.nitroexpress.com...=0&page=0#Post205429

Sounds like you got yours for a steal! I've got two of the CZ's and think they're awesome.

Price is a steal in my opinion; what do you intend to do with the rifle? Go hunting? Produce a pretty safe queen? Sell it for profit?

Well, I shot a groundhog with it. I was hooked. This is my first real large caliber rifle. I am primarily a small (17/20cal) caliber shooter and this is a great caliber IMO. I am building a stock for it and I have a friend who makes great octagon barrels and it's going to become a 375H&H with class. I was just checking to see the market value and if I had something that was worth the $525 I paid for it. I bought dies and bullets and have about 11lbs of Ramshot TAC which is perfect for this case. Must be fate.

Sir that rifle has plenty of class as is. You want to make a 'pretty' rifle, not a classy rifle.

Enjoy.

I found this one at Cabelas in Buda Tx a couple of years ago. Fortunately it was one with the British style stock. It already had the checkered bolt knob installed, non-setting trigger, 3 pos safety, extended forend checkering and QD rings. I gave them $650 for it. One of the few bargains I have found at Cabelas. I had the barrel cut to 23", a new NECG front sight installed, a Talley swivel band and had the stock refinished, cross-bolted, new recoil pad installed and checkering re-cut. Really pleased with how it came out.

Isn't that the old-style of rings that BRNO/CZ used to supply from the factory before switching to the beefier current ones?
I have some like that which I use on a 9.3x62 CZ 550 Medium FS.

Since we're on the topic of parts, is there an aftermarket trigger for this thing. I have the set trigger, not my cup of tea.

What year was it made ?

(Post the serial number here, we can tell from that).

Some 602's were great, some were so so.

Sounds like you got a good deal.

I never found one, an aftermarket trigger, for mine. But BRNO did supply 2 triggers with each rifle as new, and my used one came with both triggers.
One is a non-set trigger, has the traditional curved shape, and it works fine for me.

The trigger hinges on a pin in the bottom metal that is perpendicular to the trigger slot of the trigger guard.
Take off the bottom metal and the trigger goes with it.

So I will have to fabricate one, no problem.

Anyone think a CZ550 Mag could be made to fit?

Why do you want "CZ550 Mag could be made to fit?"

I looked backed but couldn't see where this came up ?

Here is my BRNO with Wisner safety and the original BRNO non-set trigger from factory.

The trigger is just one piece of steel that has to be precisely machined to fit a hinge pin in the bottom metal
and to engage the sear that stays with the rest of the trigger mechanism attached to the underside of the action.
It should be a simple thing to someone with the metal working tools and great skill.
That is certainly not me. hilbily

Here is my BRNO with a Wisner safety and the original factory non-set trigger:
