Picked up my just completed Remington 30S in 458 Lott from the gunsmith on Friday. Had to wait until Monday to bust the first cap with it, started with some cast loads, just a nice shove. Today got out the 500gr full house stuff. Man will those things split green oak into firewood!! Even tried four rounds rapid fire just for kicks. This will be my HOG INVERTER, it should turn them inside out.

Hog Killer -- I'll be trying my CZ in .458 Lott on hogs this weekend. Should be very good hog medicine, indeed! I'll let you know how it works with the 500 grn Hawk Deadsofts at 2300 fps. I've used my .416 Rem on hogs and it puts them down really well, so the .458 should be more of the same.
