FYI......if anyone is needing RCBS 470 dies and shellholder, Graf & Sons (www.grafs.com) has 10 (minus my set) sets coming.....they were shipped a couple of days ago and they should be receiving them late this week or early next. Garby Glad you decided on the RCBS dies. I feel that the quality control on them are quite a bit better than others and the dies look good. Keep us updated on your progress. Don't forget some 5744 and cast bullets for range time. They're a whole helluva cheaper than shooting a whole bunch of Federal's. Ray almost had some of those cheapie dies from another maker and they didn't work at all. He settled for the RCBS dies also. Lo do they call to me, They bid me take my place among them in the Halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever.

Got the 5744, got the 400 grain Hornadys, got the RL 15 (actually I reload about 10 other calibers...most use 15), got the packing foam, got the Forster case trimmer, etc., etc., etc. Now all I need are the dies!!!!...then I'm in 'bidness. Gary B.

I bought the CH4D dies and there is not enough clearance to seat and crimp my cast bullets without deforming the bullet. I emailed them a couple of times with no responce. So I just seat without crimping. Should have gone with RCBS?

L45....I had heard very little controversy about the RCBS dies for the 470...as compared to others. I've had very good luck with RCBS in other calibers. Except for my trimmer which is Forster...all of my equipment is RCBS...it's served me well for about 20+ years. What's that saying..."if it ain't broke...". My $.02. Gary B.
