Anybody have a source for some 416 bullets in the 250-300gr range besides the Barnes X( they are too long and take up too much powder space ) I need them for a 416x2 bulit on a rem SA, the rifle is blast on whitetail deer. No pun intended.
One of Us I do not know if this any help to you but woodleigh make a 340 gr .416 bullett in there protected point configuration.

Hawk has a variety of 300 grain in that might work.

Have you considered cast bullets?

Duane, I think Northern Precision in NY has some lighter weight .416 caliber jacketed bullets. I have not used them though. T

Thanks guys; Don , I have been thinking along the cast bullet line, but would prefer a jacketed bullet.
