Is anyone making a falling block action on the winchester or stevens 44 1/2 style suitable for large caliber. I have been told the winchester is not good for over 45 caliber. If anyone has any info or ideas they would be greatly appreciated

Hi. Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but Martin Hagn in Cranbrook, B.C. makes what is probably the best single shot falling block action available. Can be chambered for whatever floats your boat.
