Using Mast brass the actual neck measurment with a seated bullet is .495 as the wall thickness of the brass is .010 per side. The .5050 measurement was listed on the reamer drawing to allow for optional brass sources that might have thicker measurements for the brass in the neck area.

Peter from Quality Cartridge is getting set up to make loaded ammo or headstamped brass for the 470 Mbogo. He had a customer that was interested in the cartridge but I don't know the end result. He said if there was someone that wanted brass that he would be ready by mid Sept to supply.

Thanks 470 Mbogo for the info. Yes, I am thinking about building either a 45 or a 475 but undecided at this point. I am having a couple of projects going on right now so it will be a while before I get started on anything new here. Here are a couple more questions if you don't mind. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Who got your specs/drawing for a chamber reamer? Who was your dies source for the 470 Mbogo?

JGS has reamer drawings and specs. RCBS made my reloading dies but the last two sets have been made by Dave at CH4D. My son is putting a link up on my site for CH4D as soon as he gets a chance.
