Hi, I posted 2 weeks ago, asking for info about a BSA rifle cal 375 HH, that was for sale in a neighboring gun shop. I'm just back, and the rifle was actually NOT a BSA, but a Parker Hale Safari in good shape. What is your thought?

they seem to be a very nice rifle, basically a Mauser. I shot one in a .404 Jefferys awhile back and I would have loved to own it, but alas the owner was a narrow minded sort and didn't think four $1000 Tomcats was a fair trade! My thought is I would love to have it, if the price is right. No flys on those 375's. "If you can't go all out, don't go..."

As said before, the rifle seems to be in good conditions, used at hunting, but in good shape. Do you believe that 900 Euro/1200$ could be a reasonable price?

My good friend "Spartan" on AR has a Parker Hale Safari. It is a great rifle but you must seat the Bullets well to get "loaded" rounds to extract. ozhunter
