Some of the gun plumbers who sell their goods online really aught not get so creative with those piles of used parts they have lying around.

I rank this one right up there with the Russian Mosin carbine some dude rechambered for 300 WSM - an equally bad idea.

And who in the hell wants a single shot 45/70 bolt rifle anyway? For the price I doubt the rifle holds more than one round at a time. Seems like an awful waste of time to me.

So I think I'll have to let this great deal pass me by... thumbdown

A needed reminder that liquor and gun parts don't mix.

If you look at the muzzle, it looks like there are 2 holes that are presumably part of the muzzle brake, right along the wood line, and looks like the wood is recessed there for the release of hot gases. I wonder if the finish would get burned over time.

You know, there are rifles smiths, and there are combination plumber/house painters! Guess which one built this thing! thumbdown

A waste of an old action, and .458 bore barrel, IMHO! Where's the icon for pukeing?

Yes, ugly as sin!

....but what I found is really sad, about the whole deal, is that there have been eight bids on the damn thing!
