Thanks to everyone who contributed opinions but I have changed my choice from the M70 to the CZ.

A few posters told me to get the CZ and as Jeffesso said I will have money to re-stock later. The M70 was $600AUS dearer and I beleive it is not a $600AUS better gun, after feeling the synthetic winchester stock I felt that it was crap and needed replacing as well.

I also like the "old world" look that the CZ's have, with those sqaure bridges and the integral mounting systym suits me better. The express sites also are good, all in all it is a lot of "big bore" for a person whom is on a budget like myself.

Mr. Belks discussion about stainless actions also swayed me and I now beleive that one is better of with a chrome moly action mated to a stainless barrel.

Finally I have a cz .416 and a 602 based .585 so I felt that Mike 375's comment about sticking to the same actions holds some weight.

Thanks to all who helped me out, all your advice was great.

PC.

You made a good choice...You ought to see what Belk can do to CZ Metal, now that is nice...and all that writ'en on the action is gone. Brockman has a wonderful drop box stock design on my pattern or near it.

Ray I would love to see pics of Mr.Belks work on CZ's and a picture of your stocks as well.

I could get a picture of what J.Belk has done and one day get my smith to make some of the same mods.

I agree with you that the writing on the side is horrid, I just try to never look at that side of my .416 [Wink] I will as time goes get the tasks that need doing done bit by bit.
