Hi,
My .505 Gibbs project is proceeding, still in the White, but one can see that it will be a shooter! Hopefully PAC elephant May/June 2009 in Zim.

Wood;

Metal;
Mauser 98 Magnum Square bridge action by Vector or more probably Recknagel, found it in SA anyway dancing

Barrel; Truvelo.
Front and rear sights, hand made copies of Richard Harlands original .505 Gibbs

Recoil pad, Original Silver's (of course). Fore end tip of Cape Buffalo horn, taken from a lion killed bull in Save Game Reserve, Zimbabwe nov 2007;

Master stock and rifle maker Mr P O Stenmark does the wood work and the final metal work, next step is to do the final adjustments of the pistol grip etc;

Nice one Husky! If I ever decide on anything larger than the .416 it´ll be either a .500J or a .500G

P-O looks like a real gentleman gunmaker in his getup!
