| Are these identified and/or packaging as seconds...then a box could be refilled...seems like a big potential for Nosler to get bit in the a$$ with these getting resold on the web as good bullets.
I agree, good deal, but not typical thinking for a company with a reputation to protect. |

| All of the Nosler seconds I have purchased had a cannelure to ID them as such. edit: should have specified Partitions. I have purchased other bullets from them without cannelures (Custom Competition and Ballistic Tips)

I wouldn't worry so much about Nosler. I have a coffee can full of NP seconds. They are sold in bags marked as seconds. If someone was so hard up to try to collect retail boxes and resell them, then they probably reaaalllly need the money. |

| fourbore ----- Between .243-.25-.277-7mm-.308 calibers I have dozens of sacs of Nosler Seconds on hand. They come in sacs marked "Cosmetic Blems", instead of the normal Nosler box. Those I have are Solid Base, Ballistic Tips, Accubonds, and Partitions. I shoot them weekly and have never noticed any difference in performance between them and the first run bullets. Nosler clearly states that they should not be sold as first run bullets, however I have seen them marketed on dealers counters in those sacs and priced as first run bullets. Good shooting.

| These bullets sound like a bargin. I might check Nosler website. Apparently? you dont have to be a walk in customer to buy these. Only cosmetic, that is great. Good that Nosler will sell at a discount rather that scrap them. |

Not all. I've bought some w/ & some w/o. They shoot fine, never seen a problem. I still hunt w/ the factory new bulelts, but 2nds are great for working up loads.

| I bought some Nosler seconds one time that the rep said the only thing wrong was they had the wrong color tip on them. They were 30 cal. 180 grain Accubonds. They had red tips instead of the white tips. No cannelure.

Looks like the Partitions I have purchased (700 or so in three diameters) must have been originally made up for Federal premium ammo or some such as they all have cannelures. I have purchased thousands of pistol bullets from them and none of them had a cannelure.

I have a supply of nosler bullets that I've purchased from www.shootersproshop.com & their auction site www.bivwak.com .I passed this info on to all of my friends.last night they had 180gr 30 cal accubond blems in bags of 50 up for bid in 10 bag lots = 500 bullets.Sometimes they're listed with free shipping.A dillon tech told me he bought 600 95gr 6mm partition seconds for $60. |

Nosler has been selling "seconds" for more than several years and it hasnt bit them in the ass yet. I buy seconds anytime I have a chance from them. Can see no difference in performance what so ever from there "non seconds". Nosler mentions on the packaging they are not to be relabled and resold.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
