Terry and I arrived in Libby yesterday, the weather is beautiful and warm, conditions just like Africa every time I was there. We had an interesting drive up from Houston, including a night in Butte where we were awakened by a 5.7 earthquake that shook the hotel pretty hard! This was my wifes first experience with a quake, and she was not wanting to repeat it any time soon! We are looking forward to the shoot and meeting up with AR members that have come up. Lee.

Good to hear the weather is beautiful.I have my things packed and will be heading to the airport very early tomorrow morning.I am bringing my camera along and hopefully I will have a few pics to post when I get back.As far as earthquakes go, my Searcy and Lott will be causing a few of their own.

OK, I lied, it was a bit more than warm at 102*, but since I am used to having 80% humidity at home, it did not feel bad to me!
Dry heat donchaknow!

Another great shoot. Many thanks to Jay and
his dedicated crew of helpers and range officers. Raffle ticket sales raised good
money for the youth shooting sports program and many good prizes were handed out. Thanks
to the vendors for showing up and especially
Andy and family from Skinner Sights. More motorized targets this year were fun to engage.
Hope to see everyone again next year.

Just got back. The shoot was more fun than I thought.A shooters dream com true! I can't wait for next year.Montana was beautiful. The shooting range was something great in itself. The people at the shoot were all great people. The shoot was extremely well organized and safe. The weather was great. The stay at Libby was great. My 500NE was shooting great.I won a book by Mark Sullivan for being the shooter from most farthest away to attend. The best part of the Safari challenge was getting to meet all those shooters who all had something interesting to share. Thanks to Jay and all those who made this event possible. They were most generous. The complimentary, attractive t-shirt alone is worth more than the twenty bucks we paid to register and that's not including all the pricy items that were given during the raffle.I met Milan and Robert and many, many more. All great shooters by the way.I was really impressed. No wonder it is called the "world championships"
From now on I will think of Montana as the place where real shooters come from!

Great job again by Jay and crew. I thought the pop up leopard was a good addition. Worked with Andy of Skinner Sights and he will be making me a peep sight for my 375 Flanged double. Look forward to coming back next year.
